When the sacred seals of the Yokai Shrine were broken by a careless traveler, the creatures of Japanese folklore spilled into the mortal realm, dragging the shrine's guardian Tanuki into an ever-shifting dungeon beneath the earth. Now Tanuki must fight through the very nightmares it once guarded, smashing through yokai and treasure alike to find the path back to the surface before the dungeon seals forever. YokaiDungeon invites you to explore an ever-changing, beautiful world deeply inspired by classic Japanese folklore. Join our adorable friend Tanuki and nineteen additional unique characters on an exciting adventure through randomly generated dungeons, where you will hunt for treasures and defeat all kinds of mysterious foes drawn from centuries of myth and legend. You can smash movable objects against enemies to launch clever attacks and collect valuable loot from every hard-won victory. Use the cash you earn to unlock more charming characters, each with their own special stories and unique abilities that open new strategies for survival. The game includes six different areas divided into separate rooms, each hiding fun surprises such as a special shop room with rare items and an intense boss room where legendary yokai await. With endless unexpected discoveries and constantly changing dungeons, every run feels fresh and exciting.
